Step 4: Prepare for & Take the Exam
Prep for the Exam: While waiting for your application approval, study for the exam. The exam is based on the ACMP's Standard for Change Management. Download a copy and get to know it well. Many of the training programs, like our partner JTask, provide study materials and tips.
Practice & Engage: Many successful candidates recommend taking practice tests - many of us are out of practice taking exams! Join the CCMP Study Group for support.
Schedule the Exam: Once your application is approved, schedule your exam. If you're like many of us, having a firm deadline will help you stay motivated.
Take the Exam: You'll take the 150-question, 3-hour exam online or at a Pearson VUE test center. Pay close attention to the requirements if you're planning to take the exam online; it may require the purchase of new, inexpensive, video equipment.
