Change Manager

Fun Fact

Outside of work, I enjoy baking, focusing on toddler and dog-friendly recipes. I also like to add an Indian flair to traditional American desserts. I’m in the process of creating a digital recipe journal with cooking videos featuring my little one for her future reference.

Background

I grew up in India and came to the U.S. for graduate school at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). I hold an MBA (UAB), a master’s in electrical engineering (UAB), and a bachelor’s in electrical engineering (India). My education laid the foundation for blending technical expertise with organizational strategy. After graduation and a bit of moving around, I settled in Kansas City with my young family.

Path to Change Management

My journey in change management began about a decade ago, specializing in large-scale technology transformations across healthcare, the public sector, and enterprise IT. I chose this career because I’m passionate about helping people navigate change and ensuring organizations realize the full value of their initiatives. Throughout my career, I have worn many hats but have always kept people at the center of the transformation strategy.

Biggest Obstacle Getting Established in Change Management

One of the biggest obstacles I faced was gaining credibility in highly technical and policy-driven environments, as change management isn’t as widely known as some other disciplines. I overcame this by learning to translate complex IT and business concepts into clear, human-centered strategies, which helped me build trust with both leadership and end users.

Biggest Reward from this Career

The most rewarding part of my career is seeing teams and individuals approach change with confidence. I aim to equip them with the skills to successfully navigate uncertainty—whether it’s streamlining processes in public services or helping employees adopt new systems with ease.

Bucket List Yet to Accomplish

I have a long travel bucket list I hope to accomplish in the coming years. I am also passionate about animal welfare and would love to contribute in a larger capacity in the future.
